Slippers may seem like an odd thing to recommend, but they are essential in Hawaii. These are my favorite pair of slippers, and they are definitely the most comfortable pair I own. Sanuk slippers are made out of yoga mats, so they are both comfortable and give you support.

Unlike cheaper pairs of slippers, Sanuk’s have some give that allow your foot to really sink in. If you have never worn them before, it is kind of difficult to explain; however, I can wear them for the entire day and not feel any discomfort.

Also, the part of the slippers that you put your toes into is made out of really good material, which does not cut or dig into your toes if you are running or walking for long distances. You will appreciate these details if you wear slippers for extended periods of time.

Finally, I have had my pair of Sanuk’s for over 5 years, and they are still in really good shape. There is minor wear and tear, but they are definitely still functional. Sanuk’s will last for a while if you buy them, and they will end up justifying the price (even if they are significantly more than cheap slippers).

I think these are the best slippers money can buy. Rather than constantly buying $1-2 slippers every couple of months, you should buy Sanuk’s for $25 that will last you years. Your feet will thank you in the long run.
