I was first introduced to Ministry of Supply by a friend of mine, and he always seems to find the best and newest things. He personally gave Ministry of Supply suits to all his groomsmen at his wedding, and they are a super cool brand with great products.
Ministry of Supply was started by graduates from MIT, so they definitely have a great background in technology. You can read more about their story here. Basically, their mission is to make dress clothes out of sweat-proof, comfortable material. It almost feels as if you are wearing sports shirts and pants, except that it looks like you are wearing a suit.
I only own two pairs of pants from Ministry of Supply, but I wore them every single day last summer for my summer internship. They look like any other dress pants, but the fit and feel is so much more comfortable. There is a really cool demonstration video about their clothing that you should check out here.
Ministry of Supply makes dress shirts, suits, pants, etc. for both men and women. The clothes are not cheap, but for dress clothes they are reasonable. The suits are about $500 each, and most of their other clothes are between $100-200. I would much prefer wearing their clothes compared to stiff, uncomfortable dress clothes from many other brands. While I do not know if I would want to work out in their clothes, Ministry of Supply’s clothes are significantly more comfortable than any of my other suits/dress shirts and pants.
I would definitely recommend giving their website a look, and they are even selling masks right now if you are looking for one.
Ministry of Supply Recommendation Rating: 3
1: Something worth checking out if you have time
2: Something that is a hit for some people, but not a must for everyone
3: Something worth prioritizing if interested
4: Something worth making time to check out
5: An absolute home run, worth going out of your way for
This is a blog for myself (and hopefully others) to keep track of all of the places, restaurants, books, movies, etc. that I do not want to forget. I am a college student who has lived in the US, Asia, and Europe for extended periods of time; I am very lucky to have had these experiences, and I want to share my recommendations with people interested in any of these locations.
NONE of these posts are advertisements. I do not have any discount codes or promotions for anything I write about; however, this should be considered a positive because it means that everything I write about reflects my true feelings. In order to keep this blog positive, my posts will only be recommendations for the things I enjoy the most in life. The topics will vary between whatever subjects I am interested in at a certain time, and I will have 1-2 new posts per day.
I wish I could have started this project earlier while some of my memories were fresher in my mind, but it is better late than never. I hope that other people will have the chance to visit or experience things that I write about, and I hope that people will have a similar taste in life to myself!
