Best Stationary to Buy: MUJI Pens

I wrote about A-Gel’s in a previous post, but I also really enjoy writing with MUJI pens. They come in a bunch of different colors, and they are priced anywhere between $2-5 normally. Overall, they write super well, and they are really thin (which is good if you are trying to write really neat).

MUJI is a Japanese brand, and they have so many different products. They have food, clothing, household appliances, stationary, etc; if you have never heard of it before, I would definitely recommend you check out their website and their stores. I would say the best way to describe MUJI is to think of it as a smaller, asian-style IKEA. While MUJI stores are significantly smaller, they do have similar products/environment.

The pen set pictured above (it comes with 12 or so pens) is a good one to buy, and they are the pens I typically use to take notes in school and for work. I think that they would work even better for organized people because they are perfect for color coded notes.

Overall, I know a bunch of other people who also love MUJI pens and products. Until you write with them, it is hard to understand how smooth they write and how clean the lines look. Once again, it is just significantly better than your typical $0.25 pen that you will find. Be sure to give it a try the next time you see a MUJI store!

Muji Pens Recommendation Rating: 3

1: Something worth checking out if you have time

2: Something that is a hit for some people, but not a must for everyone

3: Something worth prioritizing if interested

4: Something worth making time to check out

5: An absolute home run, worth going out of your way for
