I thought it would be good to compile a list of all of my previous book recommendations. I will continue to add to this list as I find more great fiction books, but it is just an easy, condensed way to view all of my recommendations. Also, it is a good way to review any places that you might have missed along the way.
If you are curious about knowing in more detail about a certain book, just click on the hyper-link to view my full recommendation.
I hope this list is useful to refer to as a guide, and I hope you find these books as fun to read as I did!
Science Fiction:
The Three Body Problem, Liu Cixin (Book 1: a good introduction book, but not on the same level as Books 2/3)
The Dark Forest, Liu Cixin (Book 2: the most interesting read, and definitely will have you thinking after you are finished)
Death’s End, Liu Cixin (Book 3, the most profound book, and the one that could change some of your preexisting beliefs on extraterrestrial life)
Exhalation (An incredible collection of short science fiction stories by Hugo and Nebula Award winning author Ted Chiang)
Crazy Rich Asians Series
Crazy Rich Asians, Kevin Kwan (An incredible series that was the inspiration of the Crazy Rich Asians movie; a must read for any fiction fan)
Greek Mythology:
Norse Mythology, Neil Gaiman (A super interesting read to learn more about Greek legends; it is both fun and informative!)
The Alchemist:
The Alchemist, Paulo Coehlo (A book with so much symbolism and deeper meaning, reading it could have a big impact on your life)
Drama:
The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared, Jonas Jonasson (A fiction book following Allan Karlsson and his epic journey around the world meeting historical people such as Mao, Stalin, and Churchill)
Tai-Pan, James Clavell (One of the longest books that I have ever read, but it does a great job of mixing the history of Hong Kong while also creating such interesting characters and a fantastic storyline)
