Best Restaurants to Eat at in Milan: Tartufi and Friends

Tartufi and Friends was one of my favorite restaurants that I went to in Milan, and it has probably the best burger that I have ever eaten. They have locations in Rome, Milan, London, and Dubai. Tartufi means truffle in Italian, so the restaurant is built on using truffles. This was the restaurant that I went to on my last day of school after finals were done to treat myself.

Tartufi and Friends has the option of both white and black truffles (personally I thought the black truffles were better, and they were also like 1/2 to 1/3 of the price of the white truffles). They also have many different dishes that you can choose to put the truffles on; for example, you can put them on burgers, pasta, steak, etc. I personally would recommend the burger, as it is one of the cheapest options (it is still $35 though), as well as my personal favorite.

Truffles are not a cheap ingredient, so this is a very expensive restaurant; however, if you want to try one of the best places that Milan has to offer, it is a good option. I think everyone should read this article to see how truffles are found, and what makes them so expensive. After reading this article, I hope everyone realizes why they should appreciate all of the work that goes into getting them.

Overall, if you are a fan of truffles and are looking for a place to splurge at, I would highly recommend Tartufi and Friends. With truffles that are shaved right at your table, the atmosphere and food quality are both great!

Tartufi and Friends Recommendation Rating: 4

1: Something worth checking out if you have time

2: Something that is a hit for some people, but not a must for everyone

3: Something worth prioritizing if interested

4: Something worth making time to check out

5: An absolute home run, worth going out of your way for
