L’Occitane is a French company that makes lotions, balms, etc. It is all over the world, and I am sure many people know of or have seen its’ distinctive yellow sign before. While I don’t use any of their other products, their Shea Butter Hand Cream is one of the best hand lotions I have found; when I was living in Asia and Europe, I struggled with dry, cracked hands. I am sure everyone who has lived in a drier climate has experienced this issue.
There are plenty of hand lotions out there, but a lot of them don’t work too well. Lower quality lotions often dry out faster, and don’t provide lasting relief. However, L’Occitane’s hand cream lasts a decent amount of time, and I only have to put it on once a day to make sure my hands do not crack.
Also, the hand lotion has a really good scent, and I sometimes put it on just to make my hands smell good. I’m not sure what the smell is, but if you use it, I think you will enjoy the scent.
The price is on the higher side for hand lotion, but it does last a long time; depends on how many times you end up using it per day, it can last up to a month or more. If you give it a try (and you struggle with dry hands), I do not think you will regret paying a little more for the quality.
