Best Japanese TV Shows to Watch: Suits Japan

Suits Japan is a Japanese remake of the American show that was on USA Network, Suits. I really enjoyed watching the American version, but Suits Japan is a great remake.

Suits Japan has a star-studded cast (although you will likely only recognize them if you are a fan of Japanese TV), which includes Yuji Oda, Yuto Nakajima, Yuko Araki, Anne Nakamura, and Mio Imada. The cast is super likable, and one of my personal favorites of any Japanese show I have watched.

The show mainly follows two lawyers, Shogo Kai and Daiki Suzuki; Kai is one of the most prominent lawyers in Japan, while Suzuki is a lawyer who is just starting out (but who also has a mysterious background). Their relationship is really charming though, and there are plenty of twists and turns throughout the first season. The cases that they take on throughout the show are also very fun to watch develop, even if you know what the eventual conclusion will be.

The show airs on FUJI TV, and Season 2 is currently airing in Japan. I am not sure what the best way to watch the show is (I personally watched it on KissAsian, but this is not the most reputable website). I have not watched Season 2 yet, but I will be sure to once I can find it somewhere online. If you speak Japanese though, or are able to find a version with English subtitles, I think it is a great Japanese show to watch!

Suits Japan Recommendation Rating: 4

1: Something worth checking out if you have time

2: Something that is a hit for some people, but not a must for everyone

3: Something worth prioritizing if interested

4: Something worth making time to check out

5: An absolute home run, worth going out of your way for
