Productive is an app that encourages you to build habits. It took me a little while before I started to actually use the app, but since then I have used it on a regular basis.
I believe there is both a free and paid version of the app, and the paid version is $14.99/year (or at least it was when I bought it). Buying the paid version gives you certain features such as an unlimited number of habits, location reminders, and more in-depth stats. I forget how the free version was when I first used it, but I would recommend testing it out, and if you feel like it’s useful, you can decide to upgrade to the premium version later.
I find Productive really useful because it forces me to stay on top of what I really want to achieve. For example, recently I have tried to meditate and stretch in the morning, but they haven’t really become habits yet. Productive comes in because it reminds me to do these things as soon as I wake up, as well as giving me a tangible reward (I can see my streaks building up) if I continue to do the task daily.
While some people are really self-disciplined and can do everything themselves without any reminder, I can sometimes struggle with this. I would say I am pretty good at it for most things, but it still always helps to have that little extra push. If you are really trying to build something into your daily routine, or if you struggle at achieving goals you set out for yourself, I would recommend giving Productive a try. Since it is so easy to use and the interface is so clean, I think it is really easy to enjoy, and you will find yourself coming back to it in the future.
This is a blog for myself (and hopefully others) to keep track of all of the places, restaurants, books, movies, etc. that I do not want to forget. I am a college student who has lived in the US, Asia, and Europe for extended periods of time; I am very lucky to have had these experiences, and I want to share my recommendations with people interested in any of these locations.
NONE of these posts are advertisements. I do not have any discount codes or promotions for anything I write about; however, this should be considered a positive because it means that everything I write about reflects my true feelings. In order to keep this blog positive, my posts will only be recommendations for the things I enjoy the most in life. The topics will vary between whatever subjects I am interested in at a certain time, and I will have 1-2 new posts per day.
I wish I could have started this project earlier while some of my memories were fresher in my mind, but it is better late than never. I hope that other people will have the chance to visit or experience things that I write about, and I hope that people will have a similar taste in life to myself!
