I was supposed to be in LA for school right now, so I have been thinking recently about the restaurants I really enjoyed while I was there before. One of my personal seafood restaurants in LA is called COD Seafood House & Raw Bar, and it is located near the Beverly Center.
According to their website, they still have outdoor and patio dining available, so if you are in LA you can try it out still. COD has a really similar concept to EMC Seafood & Raw Bar, but in my opinion it has better quality control.
Some of my favorite dishes at COD include the spicy tuna crispy rice, garlic noodles, and some of their rolls. All of the ingredients they use are really fresh and tasty, and most of their dishes are really good (I would try to order mostly seafood dishes if possible though). I think COD is also known for their oysters and uni pasta, so if those are things you enjoy eating then it could also be a good restaurant for you.
In normal times, parking is difficult to find, and it is best if you are familiar with the surrounding area. However, with all of the shutdowns in California, it might be easier to find close parking. The next time I go to LA, I will look forward to going to COD!
