Lisbon is one of my favorite cities in the world, and a big reason why is the food. A personal favorite restaurant of mine is called BYF Steakhouse, which is a restaurant that I found because it was next to my hotel.
Although BYF is a steakhouse, it is not priced like traditional ones. Most dishes range between $15-25, even though they taste like dishes that would cost much more. If you ever have the chance to go, the Iberian Pork Loin is an incredible dish, and it is only $15 for 200 g. Iberian Pork Loin tastes like a really good version of pork belly, and the way it is prepared at the restaurant is even better (they have a variety of flavored salts, and you can choose which one you want to season your meat with).
Some aspects of the restaurants may seem a bit gimmicky at first; they offer you the option to choose what type of knife you want to use (they have different handles and blades), as well as the different salts option mentioned above. However, I thought they were cool additions, and they helped to enhance the meal.
The restaurant does get busy though, as it has relatively limited seating. When I went, I was able to get in for lunch, but not able to get in for dinner; I believe that you can make reservations through The Fork app, so check that out if you are ever in the area!
BYF Steakhouse Recommendation Rating: 4
1: Something worth checking out if you have time
2: Something that is a hit for some people, but not a must for everyone
3: Something worth prioritizing if interested
4: Something worth making time to check out
5: An absolute home run, worth going out of your way for
