Best Restaurants to Eat at in Los Angeles: Popbar

I do not eat that many desserts, but I will sometimes make an exception for ice/cream gelato. Popbar is a dessert place (they have shops throughout the US, but I have only been to ones in Los Angeles), and they have some of the best ice cream bars I have ever had.

Basically, at Popbar you pick the flavor of bar you want, and then you have the option to dip it into both chocolate and other toppings. They have a bunch of different flavors of bars (and also seasonal flavors depending on the time of year), but my personal favorites are coconut and hazelnut. If you want traditional ones like vanilla or chocolate, or fruity ones like strawberry, they also have those as well. You can check out their full list of options at their website here.

The chocolate that they dip the bars into is also really good, and you can choose between milk, dark, white, or a combination. At some locations, they also have special chocolates such as mint milk chocolate. It is just a really good combination, and it tastes even better if you add toppings like hazelnuts or pistachios.

I would say that Popbar is like an ice cream bar version of Cold Stone, but in my opinion it is much higher quality. The ice cream quality, as well as the combinations you can create are both better. Unfortunately, the location that I used to go to a lot in Los Angeles closed down, but if you ever see one, you should check it out!

Popbar Recommendation Rating: 4

1: Something worth checking out if you have time

2: Something that is a hit for some people, but not a must for everyone

3: Something worth prioritizing if interested

4: Something worth making time to check out

5: An absolute home run, worth going out of your way for
