Although I mentioned the Qutool Lumbar Support before for back support, I have since eliminated sitting altogether and switched to a standing desk. There are several options for a standing desk; you can either get a standing desk that does not require any other extensions, or you can get a desk riser, which goes on top of an actual desk and makes it function as a standing desk.
Since I already have a desk at my house, I have been using this desk riser from Costco made by Seville Classics. You can buy it on Costco’s website for $99.99, and it works really well (as long as you have an existing desk).
For me, my back does not really tighten up if I am standing. While my feet and legs get tired from standing the whole day, it is still better than having a sore back from sitting the entire day. Standing desks have become exceptionally popular at work offices, and I think it is because many people are beginning to see the benefits of not having to sit down for 8+ hours a day.
If you are looking for the best way to solve back pain from sitting, I think it is to get a standing desk. As I mentioned earlier, there are so many options out there, so you should do some research on which models offer the best features for the best price. However, if you are looking for a relatively cheap option (and already have a normal sitting desk at home), definitely check out this desk riser from Seville Classics!
