Best Honolulu Restaurants: MW

MW Restaurant is a local restaurant in Hawaii that I have been going to a lot recently for takeout. One cool thing that MW Restaurant has been doing recently is selling fresh produce and side dishes along with their takeout. I think they are doing this is to help local farmers to sell some of their produce since they are unable to sell as much to the restaurants during this time.

Some of MW Restaurant’s best dishes include the pork chop with fried rice and the chicken menchi katsu; however, they also have a bunch of daily specials that you should check out as well. MW’s menu has so many different things, in addition to having a ton of frozen options that you can freeze for later.

MW is normally a fancier sit-down restaurant, so it has been interesting to see their transition to takeout. However, MW is also a restaurant that is well known for its’ desserts and sweets, so you should try these as well if you have a chance (I am not a huge dessert fan myself though, so I am not really sure which ones they are known for).

MW Restaurant is only doing takeout right now, and I do not know when they plan on reopening for dine-in. Still, if you are in Honolulu and want to get takeout or desserts, MW is a great option! Parking can normally be a little tough, but since MW is only doing takeout, it shouldn’t be too busy right now!

This is a blog for myself (and hopefully others) to keep track of all of the places, restaurants, books, movies, etc. that I do not want to forget. I am a college student who has lived in the US, Asia, and Europe for extended periods of time; I am very lucky to have had these experiences, and I want to share my recommendations with people interested in any of these locations.

NONE of these posts are advertisements. I do not have any discount codes or promotions for anything I write about; however, this should be considered a positive because it means that everything I write about reflects my true feelings. In order to keep this blog positive, my posts will only be recommendations for the things I enjoy the most in life. The topics will vary between whatever subjects I am interested in at a certain time, and I will have 1-2 new posts per day.

I wish I could have started this project earlier while some of my memories were fresher in my mind, but it is better late than never. I hope that other people will have the chance to visit or experience things that I write about, and I hope that people will have a similar taste in life to myself!
