This Sunbeam Heating Pad from Amazon is one of the most useful things I have bought recently. As I have mentioned before in posts for a standing desk and back support, I have been having back problems.

My back has been getting better though, and I think it has been a combination of stretching, exercise, standing desk, and a heating pad (the latest addition).

There are many possible options you can buy for a heating pad. For example, there is a heating pad that you can throw in the microwave and heat up manually. This one works ok and is cheap; however, it is difficult to get the heating pad to stay at the right temperature for a long enough time. When it comes out of the microwave, it is boiling hot, but then it quickly gets cold as well; this means that you only have the optimal temperature for a couple of minutes.

This Sunbeam Heating Pad is a better option in my opinion because it is electric. This allows you to choose the heat that you want, and it will stay at this temperature for the entire time. It takes 5 minutes or so before it heats up, but once it does it will stay hot as long as you have it plugged in. It also has a strap that allows you to adjust where you are heating, and is useful if multiple people want to use it (and are different body sizes).

Overall, I think that heating my back on a daily basis has really helped; I can often feel some relief immediately after I have used the heating pad!
