When I was in high school, my favorite ice cream brand was always Haagen Dazs. I always loved a lot of their flavors, and they seem to retain the best consistency (at least in my freezer). When I went to college though, I did not eat as much ice cream anymore since I didn’t have anywhere to put it.

After recently seeing a friend of mine post about it though, I was reminded of my favorite Haagen Dazs flavor that I used to eat all the time, which is the White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. It had been years since I had last eaten it, but I wanted to try it again to see if it was still great. It turns out it is, and I have a container of it in my freezer right now.

The ice cream is just a great mix of all the things I like, and it all goes very well together. The white chocolate and the truffle (chocolate truffles) flavor are the richer parts of the ice cream, while the raspberry provides the fruity part to counteract the chocolates. Overall, it is just a really good balance of ingredients, and if it sounds good to you, you will also likely enjoy the taste of it.

While all of Haagen Dazs ice cream flavors tend to be really good, their White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle was always the one that stood out to me the most. If you ever see it at your local supermarket, it is definitely worth trying out!
