Best Japanese Shows to Watch: Hana Yori Dango Returns

After watching Hana Yori Dango, the next step was to watch Hana Yori Dango Returns. Hana Yori Dango Returns was made one year after the first season, and it has the same main 5 characters (Makino Tsukushi and the rest of F4). It picks up where the original season of Hana Yori Dango left off, but from then on there are a lot of twists and turns.

Hana Yori Dango Returns also adds some new characters as well, who you will meet as you watch the show. Some of these characters have pretty big roles in the show, and they also add a lot of diversity to the show. There are also some scenes shot in America, so unlike the first season, not everything is shot in Japan.

I think that Hana Yori Dango and Hana Yori Dango Returns are about even in quality, and if you liked the first season you should definitely watch the second season. I also watched the Hana Yori Dango movie, which came out a year after the second season was released. While the movie kept the same cast as well, I personally preferred the TV format, and didn’t enjoy the movie as much as I did the first two seasons.

Hana Yori Dango Returns is all over the place in terms of storylines that are happening, but everything comes together at the end. In case you watched the first season of Hana Yori Dango but haven’t heard of Hana Yori Dango Returns, I would be sure to check it out if you are curious!

Hi,
This is a blog for myself (and hopefully others) to keep track of all of the places, restaurants, books, movies, etc. that I do not want to forget. I am a college student who has lived in the US, Asia, and Europe for extended periods of time; I am very lucky to have had these experiences, and I want to share my recommendations with people interested in any of these locations.

NONE of these posts are advertisements. I do not have any discount codes or promotions for anything I write about; however, this should be considered a positive because it means that everything I write about reflects my true feelings. In order to keep this blog positive, my posts will only be recommendations for the things I enjoy the most in life. The topics will vary between whatever subjects I am interested in at a certain time, and I will have 1-2 new posts per day.

I wish I could have started this project earlier while some of my memories were fresher in my mind, but it is better late than never. I hope that other people will have the chance to visit or experience things that I write about, and I hope that people will have a similar taste in life to myself!
