NBA Top Shot is a world I have really been diving into recently, and the marketplace can be an incredibly complex place to try and understand. Since I was relatively late to finding out about NBA Top Shot, there is a lot of terminology and information that I have to catch up on.

While there are a lot of guides and helpful blog posts within the NBA Top Shot website, it is not enough to get a complete understanding of how it works. However, there is a podcast available called The First Mint Podcast, and it was created by an early adopter of Top Shot. He has been around throughout the incredible rise, and he has a lot of helpful information to share with new users like myself.

For those familiar with NBA Top Shot already, the podcast dives into information about how early users think card values will change over time. While I joined too late to make significant amounts of easy money from NBA Top Shot, it is still in the early stages of its growth process (if it does actually become a huge product). Therefore, it is really helpful to learn which cards will have staying power for the future, and which ones can best be held as long term investments.

NBA Top Shot has really captivated my interest because it is the intersection of alternative investments, sports, and an auction market place. There is so much going on within the website, and as an NBA fan it is all I ever could have asked for. I am learning more about it everyday, and I think listening to podcasts like The First Mint is a great way to get involved for new users!
