I am not normally not a huge sandwich fan, but E.A.R.L’s sandwiches are worth making an exception for. E.A.R.L has two locations on Oahu, one located in Kakaako and the other one in Kaimuki (the original).

E.A.R.L has a relatively small menu, but all of their sandwiches are good. I mostly stick with The French Dip or the Beef Brisket sandwich, but it really depends on what type of meat you enjoy. They have other popular options such as The Italian, Cubano, The Drew, etc.; you can check out their full menu here. The two locations have some different options, so be sure to look at their menu carefully.

E.A.R.L is one of the most popular sandwich restaurants in Hawaii, and it is one that you will often hear recommended to you by locals. I know that a lot of my friends enjoy eating at E.A.R.L; E.A.R.L in Kaimuki is a really small location though, and it is pretty much takeout only. If you are ever in the mood for sandwiches, I would consider making E.A.R.L one of your first stops!
