Auto Sleep is my new favorite sleeping app, and I use it every night on my Apple Watch. Similar to a previous app I mentioned, Sleep Cycle, Auto Sleep has a functionality where it will wake you up when you are furthest out of deep sleep.
Personally, I prefer Auto Sleep to Sleep Cycle because it has a bit more functionality, and I like the UI/UX of the app more. In addition to having the wakeup function, Auto Sleep is also able to create some really useful graphs and charts that show how you have been sleeping. As shown in the photos above, this can include information such as the amount of deep sleep you had, how long it took you to fall asleep, how ready you are for activity the following day, etc.
Although I do not look at the graphs and charts every single day, it is useful to track over a long period of time to see how you have been sleeping. One feature of Auto Sleep I really enjoy is the calendar history feature, in which it shows you how much sleep you got on a certain night, as well as things like sleep rating and average heart rate. The more you use Auto Sleep, the more information it collects, and thus the better insights you can gain into your sleeping habits!
Auto Sleep Recommendation Rating: 4
This post has now been updated to reflect a new ratings system that I have implemented, which is scored as follows:
1: Something worth checking out if you have time
2: Something that is a hit for some people, but not a must for everyone
3: Something worth prioritizing if interested
4: Something worth making time to check out
5: An absolute home run, worth going out of your way for
