I enjoy eating ice cream on an occasional basis, but most of the time when I eat ice cream it is just out of a pint; however, recently I have been eating Sublime Ice Cream Sandwiches from Trader Joe’s.

I just happened to come across these ice cream sandwiches when I was shopping at Trader Joe’s and craving ice cream. Each box of Sublime Ice Cream Sandwiches contains 4 sandwiches, and they are a perfect snacking size after dinner.

Sublime Ice Cream Sandwiches are chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream in the middle, which is then covered by more chocolate chips on the outside. I didn’t know how these would taste since the cookies are not fresh; however, I think that the cookies hold really well even with how long they are in the freezer for.

The texture of the cookies is pretty good (they don’t get too hard even after a long time in the freezer), and the taste is good as well. The vanilla ice cream goes well with the cookies, as it is not too heavy or sweet; the outside part of the ice cream that is rolled in chocolate chips also makes each bite a bit different. I like having the outside have chocolate chips before getting to just vanilla ice cream when you reach the middle.

While I do not eat these ice cream sandwiches every day, they are a nice treat once in a while, and I enjoy keeping them in the freezer to have them on hand.
