Han No Daidokoro is a yakiniku restaurant in Hawaii that opened in Hawaii during the pandemic. Han No Daidokoro specializes in beef, mainly Washu and Miyazaki beef (two of the best types of Japanese beef).
When I went to Han No Daidokoro, we ordered a combination of a set and some ala carte items to supplement the set (there will 11 small courses). The set has some of the most popular cuts that you can sample, but you can order ala carte if you only want certain cuts of beef. Some of my favorite items at Han No Daidokoro were the sukiyaki, shabu shabu grilled beef, and the beef sushi. I personally prefer thinner cuts of beef, but it all comes down to personal preference.
Another good thing about Han No Daidokoro are their side dishes, which include items like salad and bibimbap. They are a lot lighter and a good change of pace when you are eating so much beef.
Overall, I would say that Han No Daidokoro is slightly worse than Jojoen; however, for Hawaii standards Han No Daidokoro is the best yakiniku place available. Jojoen is only in Japan still, so until Japan reopens I hope to be able to go back to Han No Daidokoro!
