For those who haven’t heard of it yet, Wordle is the newest game to take off. Wordle was recently sold to The New York Times for over a million dollars, and its popularity is unmatched recently.

To play Wordle, all you have to do is go to the Wordle website every day at 12 AM local time. You can only play it once per day, and this is part of the appeal of Wordle (it is a nice five minute start to your day, which could be shorter/longer depending on how much you think). Unlike many other games which try to keep your attention for as long as possible, Wordle is satisfying in that once you finish it, you know you are done for the next 24 hours; also, it is a great game to play with family/friends because you can share your stats about how many tries it took to get the word.

Wordle is a word game in which you have 6 guesses to find out a five letter word; each turn it will tell you whether the letters you put in are wrong, whether they are in the word but in the wrong place, or whether they are in the word and in the right place. Using these clues, you then have to guess what the word is before your six tries are up. It is such a great concept because it helps with vocabulary and structuring words, yet it is easy enough that almost any person of any age can learn how to play.

If you don’t play Wordle already, I would highly recommend checking it out and starting today!
