Best Restaurants to Eat at in Los Angeles: Mogu Mogu

Address: 11555 W Olympic Blvd Ste B, Los Angeles, CA 90064
When I used to work in Sawtelle for a summer, I went to a lot of restaurants around the area during my lunch breaks. Sawtelle is mostly famous for its ramen and Asian food, with places like Tsujita LA Artisan Noodle being especially popular. A little bit out of the main area (on one of the side streets) though, there is a place called Mogu Mogu.
Mogu Mogu is known for its mazemen, which literally translates to mixed noodles. It is basically a soupless ramen in which you mix the noodles in a sauce. While this may seem a bit weird to ramen fans, it actually has quite a bit of flavor (I may say it’s even more flavorful than regular ramen).
Mogu Mogu has a bunch of different mazemen dishes depending on what kind of toppings you are looking for. Most come with some combination of char siu, egg, and green onions though. They also have different sauces, which range from the typical soy-sauce based to cheese mazemen, curry mazemen, and miso mazemen. I have only tried the original one, but I’m sure the variations are good as well.
If you are looking for a new place to try in Sawtelle that you may have not heard of before, Mogu Mogu is definitely worth trying out. If you live around the area, I think that Mogu Mogu’s dishes would hold very well.

Hi,
This is a blog for myself (and hopefully others) to keep track of all of the places, restaurants, books, movies, etc. that I do not want to forget. I am a college student who has lived in the US, Asia, and Europe for extended periods of time; I am very lucky to have had these experiences, and I want to share my recommendations with people interested in any of these locations.
NONE of these posts are advertisements. I do not have any discount codes or promotions for anything I write about; however, this should be considered a positive because it means that everything I write about reflects my true feelings. In order to keep this blog positive, my posts will only be recommendations for the things I enjoy the most in life. The topics will vary between whatever subjects I am interested in at a certain time, and I will have 1-2 new posts per day.
I wish I could have started this project earlier while some of my memories were fresher in my mind, but it is better late than never. I hope that other people will have the chance to visit or experience things that I write about, and I hope that people will have a similar taste in life to myself!
