Pickleball is a sport that I have been playing a bit more of recently, and it is definitely growing in popularity throughout the US. While I prefer tennis still, playing Pickleball is a nice change of pace and much easier on the body.
Pickleball is a lot easier than tennis, and anyone who can play tennis can quickly catch on. I would say Pickleball is like a bigger version of ping-pong, but a lot easier as well. Pickleball is also good for people of any age group because there isn’t a lot of movement required to play; the court is pretty small, and Pickleball is more about being able to hit angles and volleys than anything else.
Another reason Pickleball is good to try out is that the learning curve isn’t as steep as tennis, which means even beginners can catch on pretty fast. Also, unless someone is really good at pickleball, you can normally come up with pretty fair teams. The scoring and rules of Pickleball are a bit unusual, but once you play it enough you get the hang of it.
Nowadays, I see more and more Pickleball courts popping up. However, in order to make sure you always have one, you can get a set that allows you to play most places. As long as you have the paddles, ball, net, and lines, it is a lot easier to set up pickleball anywhere than trying to find tennis courts.

2: Something that is a hit for some people, but not a must for everyone
3: Something worth prioritizing if interested
4: Something worth making time to check out
5: An absolute home run, worth going out of your way for
This is a blog for myself (and hopefully others) to keep track of all of the places, restaurants, books, movies, etc. that I do not want to forget. I am a college student who has lived in the US, Asia, and Europe for extended periods of time; I am very lucky to have had these experiences, and I want to share my recommendations with people interested in any of these locations.
NONE of these posts are advertisements. I do not have any discount codes or promotions for anything I write about; however, this should be considered a positive because it means that everything I write about reflects my true feelings. In order to keep this blog positive, my posts will only be recommendations for the things I enjoy the most in life. The topics will vary between whatever subjects I am interested in at a certain time, and I will have 1-2 new posts per day.
I wish I could have started this project earlier while some of my memories were fresher in my mind, but it is better late than never. I hope that other people will have the chance to visit or experience things that I write about, and I hope that people will have a similar taste in life to myself!
