Kahuku Farms is one of the (mostly) rare vegetarian restaurants I will go to, as the food is worth it even without any meat. At first I was skeptical of Kahuku Farms and whether it would live up to the hype, but it is definitely worth going to.
Last time I went to Kahuku Farms I tried their acai bowl, and it is worth getting again. Kahuku Farm’s acai bowl tastes very fresh and not artificial, and the toppings pair great with the acai. Some of the toppings include apple bananas, lilikoi butter, and graham mac-nut crumble. The crumble in particular was incredible, and one of the best toppings I’ve ever had.
I believe that most of (if not all) of the ingredients used in Kahuku Farm’s dishes are produced on their property, so it is a great opportunity to eat local and try fresh ingredients. While you are waiting for your food, you can also walk around their property and see what they are growing.
If you are looking for more substantial food than an acai bowl, Kahuku Farms also has sandwiches and salads, as well as a dish called “Farm Pizza”. It is basically an open-faced sandwich with bruschetta, mozzarella, and pesto, and I think it is better than any of the sandwiches. Kahuku Farms is definitely different from my normal diet, but the food is definitely healthy and tasty!
